Police Seek Identity of Suspect in Capitol One Bank Robbery in Lanham

The Prince George’s County Police Department's Robbery Unit is working to identify the suspect who robbed the Capitol One Bank located on the 10600 block of Greenbelt Road.

On July 16, 2011, the suspect entered the bank at approximately 9:49 a.m. posing as a customer. The suspect passed a note to a teller demanding money and implied that he was armed with a weapon. The teller complied with the suspects demands and the suspect fled the scene with the money.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 20-25 years of age, approximately 5’6” tall, weighing between 120-130 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, with a black kufi cap and sunglasses.
