PGPD Announces Investigative Discovery in Police-Involved Shooting in Brentwood


The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Special Investigation Response Team (SIRT) has discovered video tape evidence that does not support the initial version of events reported regarding the February 3, 2012 police-involved shooting in Brentwood.  As a result of this discovery, the PGPD has requested the State’s Attorney’s Office amend the criminal charges against Ryan Keith Dorm. 

Corporal Donald Taylor, the police officer who discharged his firearm, and a witnessing police officer have been suspended as SIRT continues its probe.
