Suspect Sought in Multiple Bank Robberies


Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with multiple bank robberies.

The most recent robbery occurred this morning when the suspect walked into the M&T Bank located in the 6300 block of Kirby Road, Clinton, and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The victim complied and the suspect took an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

Police believe this same suspect is also responsible for three additional bank robberies to include the Capitol One Bank located in the 1000 block of Largo Center Drive, Largo, on February 9, 2012; the SunTrust Bank located in the 5700 block of South East Crain Highway, Upper Marlboro, on January 10, 2012; and the Wells Fargo Bank located in the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road, District Heights, on December 29, 2011. In each robbery, the suspect passed a note demanding money from the register. The suspect took cash and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 25 - 40 years old. He is approximately 5’9” - 6’0” in height and weighs about 150 - 200 lbs.
