Police Urge Caution after Sexual Assault on Greenlawn Drive


The Prince George’s County Police Department is urging the public to use caution after a sexual assault that occurred this morning in Chillum, Maryland.      
On March 22, 2012, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a female victim was sexually assaulted after an unknown suspect entered her apartment in the 400 block of Greenlawn Drive.  The suspect is described as wearing dark clothing, a black ski mask and armed with an unknown weapon. 
Police ask that citizens report any suspicious activity that may have been observed in the area.  Police also encourage citizens to be mindful of their surroundings, always walk in well-lit areas, and travel in groups whenever possible.
