PGPD Partners With MD Special Olympics



Members of the Prince George’s County Police Department will participate in the 2014 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on Wednesday.  They’ll join several other law enforcement agencies in the county for the event.

The Prince George’s County leg of the run will begin with a short ceremony at the PGPD District I Station in Hyattsville.  Runners will head north on Route 1 to the American Legion Post 217 in College Park.  After a lunch, runners will then continue through Laurel to the Prince George’s County line where the Flame of Hope will be passed to the Howard County Police Department.
