PGPD Investigating Sexual Assault in Bladensburg

Detectives to Canvass Community This Evening 


The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a sexual assault in Bladensburg.

Detectives are canvassing the surrounding community this evening seeking information in the investigation.
 
On September 8, 2014, at about 6:45 pm, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim as she walked on a wooded trail in the 5100 block of Quincy Street.
 
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 40-50 years old, 5’8” to 5’10”, with a slim build and black and gray facial hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue t-shirt, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap.
 
Detectives will begin the canvass in the 5100 block of Quincy Street. It begins at 7:00 pm this evening.
