PGPD Investigates Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Fort Washington

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Fort Washington. The victim is 26-year-old Furron Spivey of Evarts Street in Northeast Washington.

On April 6, 2015, at about 6:10 pm, patrol officers were called to the 9300 block of Allentown Road for the report of a collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle. When officers arrived, they found the motorcycle rider, later identified as Spivey, suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The preliminary investigation reveals the motorcycle was heading northbound on Allentown Road when for reasons which are under investigation, it crossed into the southbound lane and struck the SUV.
