Eulalio Tordil
The Prince George's County Police Department is actively working to find and arrest the Adelphi man who shot and killed his estranged wife today. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of High Point High School in Beltsville. The suspect is 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil of the 1800 block of Metzerott Road. Tordil is an employee of the Federal Protective Service.  The victim is 44-year-old Gladys Tordil.

At about 4:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the high school on Powder Mill Road for a shooting. They discovered Gladys Tordil fatally shot in her SUV. A man who was also shot was taken to a hospital. His injury is not considered life-threatening. That man had tried to intervene and help the female victim before the shooting.

The preliminary investigation reveals Tordil followed his estranged wife onto school property this afternoon. She had come to pick up her children who attend High Point High School. Tordil got out of his car and confronted Gladys Tordil as she sat in her SUV. He shot the good Samaritan first and then Tordil multiple times.

Anyone with information on where we can find Tordil is asked to call 911. Please continue to monitor @PGPDNews for the latest information in this investigation.
