Detectives Arrest Suspect in Early Morning Homicide in Temple Hills

Homicide Unit detectives arrested a suspect in connection with this morning’s homicide in Temple Hills. The suspect is 32-year-old Carjandario Yarborough of no fixed address. The victim is 53-year-old Warren Bailey Jr., of Terry Street in Northeast Washington.

On September 30th, at about 12:30 am, officers were called to a motel in the 3100 block of Branch Avenue for a stabbing. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound. He died several hours later at a hospital.

The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect and the victim got into an argument, which led to the fatal stabbing. The suspect and victim were acquaintances.

Yarborough is charged with first and second degree murder and related charges.
