Detectives Release Video of Suspect in July Homicide in Langley Park


Homicide Unit detectives today released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in Langley Park in July. On the video, the suspect is seen walking and then minutes later running in the opposite direction. The victim is 33-year-old Marvin Diaz-Marin of Jasmine Terrace in Hyattsville.
At about 5:00 pm on July 27th, patrol officers were called to the 2000 block of University Boulevard to check on the welfare of a man. Officers found the victim suffering from stab wounds to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Tipsters will not have to give their name.
