Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Upper Marlboro. The victim is 53-year-old Kermit Holland of Vandiver Court in Upper Marlboro. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On December 15th, at about 10:50 pm, patrol officers responded to the 13400 block of Vandiver Court for the report of an unresponsive man inside of the garage of his home. When they arrived, the officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
