WANTED WEDNESDAY

Bank Robbery Suspect

We’re starting Wanted Wednesday with our active search for a bank robbery suspect. Detectives are asking our community to help identify this suspect who wore a distinctive wig when committing the crime on Monday. Please take a moment to review this surveillance video. On March 19th, at about 9:20 am, officers were called to the 1000 block of Largo Center Drive in Largo for a bank robbery. Surveillance video shows the suspect wearing what appears to be a strawberry-blonde wig, dark clothing, sunglasses and gloves. He walked into the business, approached a teller and demanded cash. Once he got the money, he walked out. It’s believed he then headed to the District and committed another bank robbery there a short time later. If you have information, please call 301-772-4905 or 1-866-411-TIPS. We are offering a cash reward.
Burglary Suspects
Our detectives are also working to track down and arrest these two suspects. They’re linked to a burglary at a home in Fort Washington on March 7th. The preliminary investigation reveals credit cards taken during that burglary were then used at businesses around the region. Anyone who has information on these two suspects is asked to please call 301-749-5064.
